This season saw the widest geographical spread of teams ever to play in the Ideal Leisure league. However, it has to be said that the leagues run in England didn't go to plan.

Glasgow With the Wednesday league folding due to teams not fulfilling their application commitments, the Friday teams weer left fighting it out for the trophy. It was decided that the top three teams would play off in the refereed round robin final.

Favourites, Kally Thistle, only showed up with four players and YTFC took full advantage, winning each of their games to take the trophy. YTFC - Glasgow League Champions 2006/07
