Season 2003-2004

This season saw the introduction of Futsal as a sport to Ideal Leisure. Being backed by the S.A.F.A. futsal is very similar to five-a-side but perhaps is faster and more skillful.

The first ever Edinburgh Futsal champions are Proper Bo Rovers. Congratulations to them. They had to overcome a stop start season as we searched for an appropriate venue and a few league team changes throughout the year.
We finally found our perfect venue in the form of the James Gillespies High School games hall in Brunstfield.

The student league went right down to the wire this year as last year's champions, The Circus, made it difficult the take their crown. However, on the play-off day they were outclassed by the brilliantly consistent and competitive BEng Porto.
BEng Porto were also pushed all the way by the J Team and CUFC.

There was consolation for CUFC though as they had already picked up the Summer Cup competition and the Pre-season league.

So its very hard to pick between them for best team of the year. Well done to both of them!
